Standard Shipping Policy Affordable Heat, LLC offers free shipping for all orders shipped to Canada.  Standard shipping is through UPS Air service.  Please allow up to 7 business days for deliver.  However, most orders will arrive within 2 - 4 business days unless otherwise stated next to product description. Canadian Duties and Taxes Policy Goods entering Canada will be inspected by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and assessed for applicable Customs Duties, Taxes and Charges. It is the Importer's responsibility to account for any duties and/or taxes, while ensuring compliance with Customs regulations in Canada. What does the Canadian Buyer have to do? Pay Applicable Customs Duties and Taxes Duties and Taxes must be paid at time of delivery as a C.O.D. to UPS before the product is released to you.   UPS will make 3 attempts to deliver and collect the C.O.D.  If after the 3rd attempt a C.O.D. is not collected, the product will be returned to Affordable Heat, LLC.  A restocking fee of 15% and the shipping fee will be deducted from the customer's refund. You pay duties based on the value of the goods in Canadian funds (duty rates vary according to the type of goods you are importing and the country they came from or were made in) You pay Goods and Services Tax (GST) on all products imported into Canada.  GST is calculated on the items total value (in Canadian $) plus any duties that apply You pay Provincial Sales Tax (PST) on all goods that are taxable under the providence tax base if you live in BC, Ontario, Manitoba, PEI, Saskatchewan or Quebec.  PST is charged according to the provincial tax rate that applies.  You pay Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) instead of GST if you live in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland or Labrador.  HST is calculated on the items total value (in Canadian $) plus any duties that apply. Address Correction Fees Orders which have been submitted to Affordable Heat, LLC with incorrect address information and have not been corrected before they are shipped will incur a $10.00 charge. Incorrect address information would include:  Missing apartment or suite number, wrong house number, missing company name, wrong zip code, multiple addresses listed in the street field, or any other error which would render the package undeliverable resulting in it being either returned to us, or held for correct address information by the carrier.  Incorrect addresses may also result in delayed delivery. *Please double check your shipping address for accuracy* The $10.00 fee may be charged to Affordable Heat, LLC by UPS when packages are undeliverable due to lack of, or bad information in the address field.  This fee will be billed to the credit card the order was originally placed under.  If you feel you have been charged in error, please contact us at 888-499-8656 so we may dispute the fee with the package delivery company.  We appreciate your cooperation. Damaged Items and Lost Packages If an item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt. We will send a call tag to pick up the damaged item from you, as well as send you a new replacement unit.  Damaged call tags are good for 1 week after the replacement unit is received.  If the damaged item is not in transit back to Affordable Heat, LLC within 7 days after receipt of a replacement unit, additional charges will be issued. Lost packages must be reported to Affordable Heat, LLC within 30 days of order placement.  Please allow up to 7 business days for delivery. However, most orders will arrive within 2 - 4 business days unless otherwise stated next to product description.  Please contact us at 1-888-499-8656 as soon as possible if your order has not arrived.  We will not be held responsible for notifications after 30 days from the original date of order placement. Cancellation Policy Once an order is submitted, any cancellations are subject to a 15% restocking fee.  This includs any refusal of the package from UPS or any returned package to Affordable Heat, LLC.  A restocking fee of 15% and the return shipping fee will be deducted from the customers refund.
